This office was highly recommended on Nextdoor, so when my adult daughter, who is severely disabled, and I needed a new PCP due to insurance coverage changes, we chose two different nurse practitioners. We’ve been there a total of 4 times, and the care has been good.My issue is with the toxic chemicals that are used in the waiting area (plug in fragrances). They make me ill. On one visit, I had a migraine due to the overwhelming odor. When I brought my daughter there for the first time, I had to wait outside after I almost vomited. Before I returned last week, I called and politely asked if the plug in could be removed prior to my visit so I wouldn’t get sick. The person who answered the phone used a sarcastic tone of voice and, after a prolonged wait, said that it would be unplugged.I believe they moved it to another outlet. The smell was overwhelming and I had to wait outside again. I’ve spoken to both NP’s and the front office staff about this, and the option offered was that I could be taken back to an exam room more quickly or that the plug in could be removed before my appointment.I’ve been in many healthcare facilities, due to my daughter’s health issues, and have never experienced this problem. It’s well known that the chemicals emitted from these air fresheners are carcinogenic and can trigger migraines, asthma attacks, nausea, and other issues in sensitive individuals. I don’t understand why an air purifier isn’t used if needed.

My husband and I moved to PV from Anchorage, Alaska in June 2022. We were looking for PCP for both of us. We just kind of fell into the first place we found located off Willow Creek Rd in Prescott. The service and providers were so so and it took a long time to get an appointment and we always had to call in for refills for our prescriptions. Hometown Healthcare was recommended to my husband. We went for our first meet and greet yesterday with Dr. Joe. We were both very impressed by him and the entire staff. So happy we made the switch!

This place feels less like a mundane doctors office and more like a house and family and you feel that as soon as you walk through the doors. They used to do the blood work on location but the last time I was there I was referred out as they had the phlebotomist doing some other work needed in the clinic. Thank you Kelly for your professionalism and care!!! Would recommend to all in the area!

Been here numerous times. Always friendly and the medical professionals are attentive, caring, and thorough. Have taken my handicapped wife there and she was treated outside in our car I. Very cold weather.
